CUNE Alumna Creates Public Art Piece

CUNE alumna Amber Konz painted this bench in Lincoln, Nebraska to raise awareness for human trafficking. This bench is one of several other artistically altered benches organized by the Slave Free Nebraska campaign. The internationally recognized "Human Trafficking Blue Heart" image is incorporated in the upper right corner. Although this campaign isn't religiously affiliated, we're excited that Amber is part of an effort to stop this terrible crime that takes away the lives of so many. Amber is planning to travel to Thailand soon to work for an anti-human trafficking organization.
